nhow Rotterdam (NH)

Mission

Turning the empty shell into a iconic hotel designed by OMA and opening in January 2014. CRHS managed the full build-in packedge being installed and handover to the operational NH team.

The Hotel

The new award winning ‘nhow’ hotel De Rotterdam is located at the Wilhelminapier facing the Erasmus Bridge. This eye catching building of 150 meters high and 160.000 square meters of floor space designed by one of the world’s best architects accomodates a new Design NH hotel with 278 rooms and suites on one of the nicest locations of Rotterdam. The concept of the hotel experience is Architecture and Art, expositions and new content in the ‘theatre’ which changes during the year. The nhow Rotterdam is the 3rd nhow hotel in Europe, after Milan (Fashion) and Berlin (Music).

Public Areas

You enter the hotel through the lobby; which is located at the entrance of the whole complex. In this area you breath the architecture of OMA and you will immediately feel the ‘nhow-concept. In the hotel a high-end restaurant is located on the 7th floor with a tremendous outside terrace overviewing the Erasmus Bridge. The Bar I Kitchen I Club will be one of the new hip and trendy hot spots in Rotterdam. On the 6th floor the MICE area is containing 8 large meeting rooms with 2 high-end boardrooms.
