Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has been undergoing a large-scale transformation, project-managed by C&R Hospitality Services, to reposition the property as a leading future-ready destination. This multi-year redevelopment includes a full renovation of guest rooms and public areas, as well as a significant expansion from 402 to 500 rooms. The project also introduces a new inner tower, enhanced conference and meeting facilities, and vibrant hospitality concepts, including a new bar, restaurant, and rooftop bar.

A key aspect of the transformation is that the hotel remains fully operational throughout the works, ensuring uninterrupted service for guests. The redesign focuses on elevating both the guest experience and the hotel’s role within the city, with the ambition to become one of Amsterdam’s premier business and leisure destinations. The renewed spaces feature a spacious lobby, modern interiors, and dynamic social areas designed to attract both international travelers and local visitors.

Sustainability is at the core of the redevelopment. The project emphasizes the use of recycled and upcycled materials, including repurposed elements from the original building. With green initiatives integrated throughout the design and construction, the renewed hotel aims to become one of Europe’s most sustainable hospitality landmarks, seamlessly connecting urban life with a greener future.
