David Fictoor started his career in 1998 at RPS Kraan where his key activities were preparation of multiyear plans, consultancy and property management. After that he joined Ernst & Young were he became a project manager for EY’s own office buildings responsible for contract management and negotiation, site survey, energy management and maintenance contracts.
From 2008 David worked for Accor Hotels the Netherlands as Project Manager responsible for preparing designs and renovating hotels, Maintenance and CaPEX planning.
As co-owner of C&R Hospitality Services, David leads complex hotel projects from 2013. Recently he was responsible for the Masterplan Transformation of the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel, the hotel is extended from 402 towards 500 rooms, with new F&B facilities, renovation and new built parts, conference area and fitness area. Also a large sustainability upgrade with an ATES well and new energy and Breeam labels were included.
